Awoke 2 days ago to find a flat on the Jeep. Pulled the tire off and took it to Shore Wheels. Tim said the tube was bad, pulled it out and changed the valve stem. Even though the tire was fixed and we put it back on there was still an issue. We were told the tires were getting unsafe to drive. After 16 years of hard off-road use, time and the woods have taken their toll on the tires. We had noticed some cracks in the rubber on the ribs of the tire but did not think it was a real big deal. Well it was and a blow out with a Vehicle that has a history of rollovers could be fatal to the both of us. So We did the wise thing and had all 4 tires replaced with Hercules Terra-Trac TG Max. https://www.herculestire.com/tire-details/Hercules/TERRA-TRAC-TG-MAX We are not ones to get excited about a set of tires. But have to say today we tested these tires in mud holes filled with deep water, soft mud, sugar sand, basically 82 miles of woods torture. We even tried to get stuck by driving in 2 wheel drive. Honestly never thought a set of tires could make so much difference. We appreciated the time Tim, Ken and staff took to “Steer Us” in the right direction to choose the proper tire for the type of driving we do. We ordered our tires and they came in the next day and installed that same day! Where else can you get service like that? And the Price was better than many of the big chain stores out there! Thank You Tim and Staff, you all are honest, courteous and go out of your way to please.
